The liquid energy provider. In young animals, the digestive system is not yet mature enough to absorb and digest the quantities of fats and oils offered with the feed during the first few weeks. In addition to the quantity, the digestibility of some predominantly saturated fats also makes digestion difficult. In the beginning of their lives, young animals have insufficient production of bile acids, which are necessary to emulsify all the fat offered and prepare it for absorption into the intestinal tract. This leads to loss of fats/oils in the manure, which unfortunately were never converted into energy for health and growth.
Intra Liposol is a hydrophilic (water-loving) organic emulsifier with a mechanism of action similar to that of bile acid. The intestinal tract is an aqueous environment and, thanks to its extremely hydrophilic nature, Intra Liposol can complement the imperfections of the young digestive system. It ensures that even more saturated fats and oils can be emulsified and converted into metabolic energy.
This results in better utilisation of the fats/oils used, less loss of manure and therefore savings on feed costs.
As a supplier of liquid energy, Intra Liposol offers the farmer flexibility that can be used in cases of insufficient fat digestion. Weak and young animals drink water constantly and Intra Liposol is able to provide piglets and chickens with more energy quickly.
